A great restaurant and bar on the water. You can get there by boat as well as by car.
The Club House Diner in Bensalem is a classic diner with reasonably priced good food and great service.
The 2019 Civil War Reenactment at Neshaminy Park has been cancelled.
The Newportville Inn is a cozy German restaurant. They have a cozy sunken outdoor beer garden for a relaxing outside meal. (updated Aug 2019)
The Penn Ryn Estate is a magnificent riverfront estate that now serves as an event venue. The mansion dates back to 1744.
There are Civil War Re-enactments at Neshaminy State Park. We visited one in April 2013. Along with the battle re-enactment, there are campsites and tables with vendors and food. It’s a great day to visit some history.
Well, it only took 50 years but we are getting very close to a direct connection between I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
In December, a backpack was found in a Bensalem school with 10000 packets of heroin worth over 100,000 dollars. The police made an arrest in the case.
Apparently four guys got into a scuffle with staff yesterday at the Big Heads in Bensalem.
