Once again, Peddler’s Village is holding it’s annual Scarecrow Festival. The event consists of dozens of scarecrows throughout the grounds.

The New Hope Ivyland Station is the main station for the New Hope Ivyland Railroad. (now known as the New Hope Railroad) This is a scenic railroad that runs excursions to Lahaska. The picturesque passenger station is featured on countless photos and paintings of New Hope. There are two freight stations behind the passenger station.
Some of the indoor and outdoor seating at the Triumph Brewery provides an excellent view of the station and trains.

The SEPTA Fox Chase – Newtown line terminated in Newtown, Pa. The line has been inactive for years. The line stopped at County Line, Southampton, Churchville, The George School and Newtown. It carried freight and passengers.
The Newtown train station wasn’t much more than a small shed. It was the end of the line for the Fox Chase – Newtown Line.,
Tyler State Park is located just outside Newtown, Pa. at 101 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940-1151 (note – there are several entrances to the park and parking areas.
