New Hope is a town on the banks of the Delaware River in Bucks County Pennsylvania. New Hope is known for it’s artists, dining, old buildings, theater and canal.
Here are some Photos of Steam Locomotive Number 40 from the New Hope Railroad which was previously known as the New Hope Ivyland Railroad. These photos are from about 2009. I have only seen vintage diesel engines lately (2019). The Lahaska station is about a mile from Peddler’s Village.

Bowman’s Tower is just south of New Hope. You can drive to the top of the hill to the tower. There is a small charge for admission. You can either walk up the steps or take the elevator. Either way, there are about 20 final steps to the top of the tower. Once there, the view is fantastic.Continue reading
