New Hope is a town on the banks of the Delaware River in Bucks County Pennsylvania. New Hope is known for it’s artists, dining, old buildings, theater and canal.
The Ferry Market is in a newly renovated building across from the Logan Inn on Main Street. We thought it was simply a collection of shops. It turned out that the Ferry Market is an Upscale Food Court.
The New Hope Ivyland Station is the main station for the New Hope Ivyland Railroad. This is a scenic railroad that runs excursions to Lahaska. The picturesque passenger station is featured on countless photos and paintings of New Hope. There are two freight stations behind the passenger station.
The Triumph Brewing Company is located near the New Hope – Ivyland Train station. They offer a great assortment of beer as well as reasonably priced meals.
Bowman’s Tavern is located just south of New Hope. It’s a cozy place for lunch or dinner. There are two bars with live music nightly.

When we visit Peddlers Village in the winter we usually stop in at the Chadsford Winery tasting room for a cup of warmed wine. If you get it to go, they serve it in a paper coffee cup with a lid. There is also a tasting room with tables. Continue reading
