New Hope is a town on the banks of the Delaware River in Bucks County Pennsylvania. New Hope is known for it’s artists, dining, old buildings, theater and canal.

The New Hope Ivyland Station is the main station for the New Hope Ivyland Railroad. (now known as the New Hope Railroad) This is a scenic railroad that runs excursions to Lahaska. The picturesque passenger station is featured on countless photos and paintings of New Hope. There are two freight stations behind the passenger station.
Some of the indoor and outdoor seating at the Triumph Brewery provides an excellent view of the station and trains.
Bowman’s Tavern is located just south of New Hope. It’s a cozy place for lunch or dinner. There are two bars with live music nightly.Continue reading

When we visit Peddlers Village in the winter we usually stop in at the Chaddsford Winery tasting room for a cup of warmed wine. If you get it to go, they serve it in a paper coffee cup with a lid. There is also a tasting room with tables.Continue reading
