(June 2020). The closures have hit New Hope hard as they have almost everywhere else. Stores are vacant and for lease or sale. Restaurants have limited seating.
Saint Patrick’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year (2020). If you are looking for an Irish Restaurant for dinner, we would suggest The Dubliner in New Hope.
Here are some random images of New Hope from March 2018. New Hope offers some exceptional people watching as well as eclectic scenes.
The Deck opened in December 2018. It has a great view of the Delaware River. We visited in April 2019.
The Lahaska Railroad Station is a stop on the New Hope Railroad line. It is about one mile from the shops and restaurants at Peddler’s Village.
If you are looking for something new to do, the New Hope Railroad runs excursions from the historic station in New Hope. Their trains include Vintage diesel and steam engines and coaches. For most of the year the trains are pulled by the diesels. However, they have been running steam excursions such as their Santa’s Steam Spectacular.
(Sept 2019) The Buttonwood grill is located in Peddler’s Village in Lahaska PA. We visit a couple of times a year.
The Creeper Gallery has a collection of weird, occult and spooky items for sale. They range from Ouija boards to realistic (or real?? ) skulls.
Here are some miscellaneous shots of engines, cars and parts in the yard as of July 2018. Some have definitely seen better days.
