This is at the intersection of Geigel Hill Road and Cafferty Road. At one point my relatives had several farms in the area. This was one of the family houses. The photo was shot from Cafferty Road.

The area was well suited to big and small game hunting until the 1990’s. At that point many large homes and horse farms were built.  In the 1970’s there was a similar house on Rope Walk Road where a woman lived with no electricity or gas. There was an abandoned orchard next to the house and we could help ourselves to a few apples. However, they weren’t treated so they had to be cut with a pen knife before eating them.

Ottsville is an unincorporated community in Tinicum Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States, though parts of Ottsville are in neighboring Nockamixon Township.
