Oishi Japanese, Korean, & Thai Cuisine

Oishi is located in The Village at Newtown at 2817 South Eagle Road. They have one of the area's finest Sushi bars.

To start I had Coconut Chicken Soup made with lemongrass and Lime juice. It was very good. Next, I had steamed vegetable dumplings, and spring rolls wrapped in rice paper followed by the Shrimp and vegetable tempura – very flavorful and fresh.

I had the shrimp with a red hot sauce. The décor is country style with crème-colored walls and country pine wood tables and chairs. The place is packed every night.

This restaurant will have a Hibachi section soon.
