The Goodnoe Family Restaurant is one of those quintessential
fixtures of Newtown and Bucks County. They are know for their ice cream and
dessert. If you are looking for a place to host meetings, they have a variety of
meeting rooms available. There is plenty of parking available.

My son and I stopped in for brunch. Goodnoe's is somewhat retro in a
cool sort of way. The restaurant is a classic ice cream parlor. My son
ordered his usual Belgian Waffle with Blueberries. I ordered the grilled
chicken sandwich which was excellent.
The service is good but it isn't the
fastest in the world. On the other hand we weren't in any rush so it was
nice to sit down and enjoy the meal. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich
which was tasty. It was served with a plate of huge french fries. For desert
I had a small chocolate ice cream, hot fudge sundae. My son had a children's
size sundae. If you are an ice cream lover you will love the selection. They
serve the sundaes in the old fashioned sundae glasses.
If you want, you can take one of their pies or ice cream home with you.
Summary - A great place for casual business meetings or a really fun
place to take the kids for ice cream. I went home and split a half cord of
really knotty Norway Maple to work some of the calories off. :)
