Paganini’s is an interesting restaurant composed of a number
of intimate rooms. During the summer there is some al fresco seating
available. Upstairs is available for larger parties. There is a
photograph of a cathedral on the way upstairs that I found absolutely unique
and fascinating. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable.
We visited Paganini’s for a noon lunch on a hot day in late
July. We were promptly seated. I ordered an open faced Ham and Mozeralla.
The portion was a bit on the smaller side but it was delicious. It
came with a small salad. I also ordered an iced cappucino. They have a
fairly extensive wine list.
The service and food were great. They were kid friendly
although the menu is fairly rigid. The meal for the three of us, including
deserts was about $50.
If you go parking can be somewhat scarce depending on the
time of day. There is metered on street parking and several municipal lots
in the area. You are within about three blocks of a wide variety of stores
including two bookstores.

Paganini Restaurant has many dining levels and corners which gives the
diner intimacy and privacy. All their pasta is homemade.
My son had the elbow macaroni with cheese and butter -- they were made
especially for him.
I had the antipasto which consisted of grilled eggplant, grilled
zucchini, red peppers, mozzarella, and shredded carrots with capers – it was
excellent – good for the small appetite.
The service was very attentive. The rolls were excellent. For dessert I
had tiramisu – very good. My son had raspberry sorbet.
The place exudes European aesthetics. Outside the owner created a
cocktail garden which has a water sculpture in the center and 5 foot foliage
totally surrounding the garden – so the cars can not be seen from the
garden. Exquisite. |
