Doylestown -- The James A. Michener Art Museum

Doylestown, Bucks County Pennsylvania Michener Museum

The James A. Michener Art Museum is is next to the Doylestown Library and across from the Mercer Museum. It was a prison built in the late 1800's. Michener (1907-1997) was a Doylestown native whose novels included Tales of the South Pacific, Poland, Chesapeake, Hawaii, Texas and many others.
