Wasps in the ground

I ran into something i have not seen before in our ten years in BUcks
COunty. There was a small hole in the ground about 10' from our front
door. I noticed some wasps flying to and from it.

i didn't realize at first how lucky we were. As i read up on it i
found that the wasps are deadly if you disturb the nest. Thercan be
over 5000 in one underground nest.

i figured out how to safely get rid of the hive. Caution is a must -
or hire a pro.

IT would be a good idea to take a careful look around for wasp
activity. Do NOT try to use gasoline or kero as it will get into our
ground water.
