Barns in Bucks County

Barns served a critical function in the early days of the county. There are many picturesque old barns still standing. Some are still in use and others are, shall we say, retired.

As you drive through Bucks County, you will see many of the older barns still standing. In many cases, developers are keeping the old farmhouses and barns intact when they develop a tract of land. This adds greatly to the scenic beauty of our county.
