Playwicki Farm - Lower Southampton, Pa

Just east of Bridgetown Pike and West Maple Avenue (eastbound site) Map

(not to be confused with Playwicki Park on the same road)

Playwicki Farm is located on Bridgetown Pike  (213) in Lower Southampton, Pa. It is about 2 miles north of Street Road on route 213 (Bridgetown pike which becomes Maple Avenue in Langhorne). Playwicki Farm is "135 acres of preserved open space" There are paved trails and a children's playground. The Farm is also the site of a Lenape village known as Playwicky of some archeological importance.  There are wide, paved walking trails throughout the park.

Old Farmhouse - Playwicki Farm.

A note on the spelling. Most of the time we see the name as Playwicki. However, there are numerous references on the web (from old documents) to Playwicky or Playwickey.
