Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena

A view of the boat launching area on Lake Galena in the Peace Valley Park. The lake was formed by damming part of the Neshaminy Creek. 

The lake offers an excellent boating locale. There are boat ramps and a boat rental facility. 

The park has playgrounds, boating, hiking, fishing, biking and trails for walking. The restrooms are closed off season. However, you might be able to find them at the Nature Center.

You Can rent rowboats, paddleboats, sailboats and kayaks. Prices range from $8 for a half hour for a rowboat to $80 for a full day on a 14' sailboat. They offer a Junior Boating and Safety class, Junior Boating Camps, Sailing Lessons, Junior Fishing Classes and more.
