Virginia Forrest Recreation Area - Delaware Canal

The paths along the Delaware Canal provide a variety of recreational opportunities. You can hike, walk, bicycle, or simply take a romantic stroll. There are also opportunities for bird watching and nature watching. The canal is picturesque in it's own right but the beauty is enhanced by the views of the Delaware River. Bring your camera as there are dozens of opportunities to get some great pictures of the scenery

There are some restaurants along River Road. You should check things out beforehand regarding reservations and hours
