Virginia Forrest Recreation Area - Delaware Canal - Facilities

Facilities at the Virginia Forrest Recreation Area

The Virginia Forrest Recreation Area has very nice facilities. I'm not sure if they are open all year, but the 'family' restroom was open in late November. It's heated and has running water.

There are also a few picnic benches and a grill overlooking the Delaware River. The recreation area is a convenient access point for hiking, biking or just strolling the towpath.
