Last May (2016), my son and I found a newborn fawn next to a Norway Maple alongside the driveway. The first thing to remember is do NOT touch the fawn or ‘try to help’. The Doe is around  somewhere and will tend to the fawn as soon as necessary assuming you are out of the way.
